FOODS FOR HAIR GROWTH

What we eat have a significant impact on our daily lives. 

We also need to be careful about how much food we eat is absorbed by our body as nutrients. 

Adding various nutrients to our daily diet is recommended by nutritionists; vitamins, proteins, and minerals, can have long-term health benefits. 

In addition to our general physical health, it also contributes to enhance the beauty of our skin and hair.

All fresh foods have a specific nutritional value, and some foods can be classified as 'superfoods.  This is because they provide more nutritional value. 

Here are some superfoods that are great for hair growth and can even prevent hair loss.

 



Berries

Berries contain nutrients such as vitamin C that help absorb iron, and nutrients contain antioxidants that protect the hair from various damages. 

Vitamin C stimulates collagen synthesis and protects your skin and hair.  It promotes blood circulation and makes your hair strong and healthy with essential nutrients. 

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries are rich in other nutrients such as vitamin B, which help carry oxygen to the scalp and prevent hair loss.

Exotic berries like South American acai berries are an excellent food for hair.  They contain omega 3, 6, and 9 nutrients and vitamins A, B complex, C, and E. 

These nutrients carry out a unique process to nourish dark and weak hair and protect it from external damage.

Dark, Leafy Green Vegetables

Dark, green leafy vegetables are your best friends when it comes to the health of your hair.  These are rich in vitamins A, B, and C, iron, fiber, and calcium. 

Dark green vegetables also contain phytochemicals, which act as antioxidants and are suitable for overall health.

Kale, for example, contains antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamin C, as well as flavonoids that can slow down the aging process by fighting antioxidants.

Avocado

Avocados are often referred to as a superfood and have fantastic health benefits, and are great for your hair as well as skin.  Avocados are rich in folic acid, lutein, omega 3, potassium, magnesium, vitamins A, C, D, K, B vitamins, and vitamin E, which improve blood circulation and stimulates hair.


Salmon

Only one in four salmon contains 11 grams of protein, which is an essential nutrient for hair.  Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, potassium, iron, selenium, vitamin D, protein, and amino acids. 

Salmon has various benefits for the hair. This can help prevent hair loss, improve the quality and texture of hair, and enhance it. 

If you do not eat fish, you can take a fish oil supplement.

Eggs

Eggs contain vitamins B12 (cobalamin), B2, A, B5, selenium, zinc, manganese, folate, calcium, biotin, vitamin E, and iron.  Biotin helps to produce keratin, a protein

essential for hair growth.  Having biotin in your diet can help combat any deficiency and promote hair growth.

Egg yolk contains healthy fats that help keep hair moisturized and shiny.  Because hair is high in protein, eggs are a great source of protein and can help keep your hair healthy and well-nourished.

  • Mercury content high fish.
  • Greasy Food.
  • Carbonated Drinks.
  • Alcohol.

 

Try to replace these unhealthy foods with fresh and healthy options - drink plenty of sugar-free fluids to keep yourself hydrated.
